About SourcePoll
Why this app exists.
Our representative system was designed about 250 years ago, when a message travelled by horse and buggy.
Back then, carrying one citizen's opinion to the capital took weeks, so we sent a person instead. Today a message crosses the country in a second. SourcePoll lets citizens speak directly on the bills that shape their lives, and lets everyone see where the people actually stand.
SourcePoll does not replace an election. It is a way to be heard between elections, on the actual bills, and to compare what the people say with what Congress does.
A note from Sam
SourcePoll is an idea I've carried for a few years. I'm not a coder. I built it together with AI collaborators, one conversation at a time.
At its heart, this app is a reminder of our sovereignty and our self-respect. Respect is key. Self-respect is love. It is awareness of our reality, and of the voice each of us already has.

The seven elements
SourcePoll grows from seven simple practices:
- Pausing: effortless allowing, relaxing
- Curiosity: question everything innocently
- Notice: beholding with wonder
- Unveil: expose, inform, open
- Release: respect sovereignty
- Responsibility: choosing for yourself
- Knowing: full self-awareness, wholeness
That is a clean order. Each one opens the next.
Pausing is the ground. Without it, curiosity becomes a search and noticing becomes analysis. Curiosity stays innocent only when nothing needs to be answered. Notice is just looking, without naming yet. Unveil is what appears once the looking is quiet enough. Release is the respect that does not keep what was seen. Responsibility is the choice that follows, not a duty laid on. Knowing is what remains when the first six have done their work.
Nothing is missing. It is already whole.
